Hi Tami,
Something you may find useful-
There are a whole series of SQL scalar Functions in the company database you can call from SQL.
The are named DYN_FUNC_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
in your case, this would help
SELECT dbo.DYN_FUNC_Document_Type_IV_Trx(1)
returns

should have just search google instead of this forum...MS you really need to fix your search function on both the forum and customer source
