Can I map Security group to Roll center?

Hi experts!

I would like to control Role Center by using existing Security Group or so like below.
Security Group A → Business Manager
Security Group B → Project Manager
How can I do that?

If not, please suggest best way how to assign Employee Group to Roll Center.

Hi there!

The security groups in Azure AD (entra ID) link to permission sets, not specific to Profile (role).

You can achieve similar functionality by leveraging Power Automate - for instance:

- when a new user is added to a security group, then

- connect to business central and assign the added user to a appropriate profile / role based on mappings

As Holly Huffman mentioned, Role Center has no relation to Security Group, which can be set in User Settings.
