Not displaying the item allocated details.

Posted on by 2,845

Hi Experts,

I am new to fields service module. I would like to know whether the allocated transaction will be shown in the item inquiry window for field service inventory requirement.

1. I created one service call and added a item with 2 qty.

2. At that moment, the available qty of the item is 10. Then, I assigned the technician to that service call.

3. Then, I went to inventory requirement window in service module and transferred the 2 qty to the technician site.

4. Now, when I am inquiring the item, its is shows me that On hand qty - 10, Available - 8 and allocated - 2. But, while clicking the Allocation zoom  button, the item allocation inquiry is not displaying anything. I don't know whether it is a default functionality for service related allocations. Can anyone clarify this?

    Hi Kirk,

I could not understand the navigation you have mentioned. Can you add some detail?

    Hi Becky,

We are using GP2015 R2. Still, I could not zoom the allocated qty for service call. Any other reason?

    Hi Mani,

Is field service selected to display in the modules restriction box in the upper right hand side of the window?

    Hello Mani,

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you.

If you are on GP2015, allocation caused by Field Service will be in the Item Allocation Inquiry window. If you are on an older release, say GP2010, you will not see the Field Service allocations in the Item Allocation Inquiry window.
