We need to have a scale certified with Weight and Measures Canada and by law the receipt must print trailing zeroes in the quantity entry. I need a quick solution to this.
I dont mind making the modifications to the receipt template but we need the format to look like this:
XX.XXX kg @ $Y.YY/kg
I need to have three decimal precision all the time. So 1 kg needs to always be 1.000 kg and 50 g needs to be 0.050 kg
If there are commands for Left, Right, Concatenate etc in the receipt compiler language I think I could sort this out myself but havent been able to get that to work yet.

If you don't mind. Can you post the code.
Yeah, everything is in KG (it is Canada ;) )
Anyway, on Friday and this morning I added some code to the receipt template to get around this issue. All good.
Need to call Weight and Measures back to get the scales certified.
Thanks!
I have a question. Are all your items within RMS entered in the price per KG. If not then this will be impossible to accomplish.
You can try to use Instr and Len and some IF and Condition statements. It will be complicated and will need tested.
