Customer is trying to install sp 2 on version 9.0 on a Windows 7 machine and receives error: "the instruction of 0x001effd0 referenced memory at 0x001effd0. the memory could not be written. click ok to terminate."
We explained that technically gp 9 is not compatible with windows 7 however, they could use windows xp mode and sent them a link
Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode for Windows 7Are there any other suggestions for getting this to work rather than going this route?
