We have NAV developer running on our server.  When I launch it, it automatically opens in OBJECT MANAGER.  I need to change some RDLC reports and I would like to rename the current before I update the design layout.  When I try this I get a message sayiing I don't have permission to do that or add new reports.  However, it lets me update the report in place and I can save it and compile it, but I am concerned about doing this in production and I have no fall back.  How do I reset permissions or how can I get into developer and not only Object Manager.

Thanks

If you mean Dynamics NAV Development Environment, as far as I know there is no difference in permissions, only licenses, please check if you have imported a partner development license.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
