    Re: FRX Run-time Error 91

    Hello,

As mentioned this is a bug in the software so I would recommend an upgrade to SP 11.  The bug only occurs on FRx 6.7.9111 so if you are on a higher version a different cause would be the issue.

If you want to stay on SP 9 you will need to create a case to get the hotfix.  Here is the link for the upgrades.

    Re: FRX Run-time Error 91

For this issue hotfix is available in Microsoft Dynamics Patner source

    Article ID: 965762

Topic: Microsoft FRx 6.7 Service Pack 9 Hotfix for Error 91 and Error 429 messages

    Resolution :

To resolve the issue use the following:

    1. Replace the drill32.exe.config file with the version attached to this article:
      • Browse to the main Microsoft FRx directory.
      • Find the existing drill32.exe.config file in that directory.
      • Rename the existing drill32.exe.config file to something like drill32.old6.10.08.
      • Extract the new updated drill32.exe.config file into the main FRx directory.
    2. Replace the frxa32.exe.config file with the version attached to this article:
      • Browse to the main Microsoft FRx directory.
      • Find the existing frxa32.exe.config file in that directory.
      • Rename the existing frxa32.exe.config file to something like drill32.old6.10.08.
      • Extract the new updated frxa32.exe.config file into the main FRx directory.

If FRx exists with SP10 still intact use the following:

    1. Place this file FRxSP10UnRegAsm.cmd into the main FRx 6.7.10343 Directory
    2. Run the FRxSP10UnRegAsm.cmd file
      • This will unregister the 6.7.10343 .NET interop COM objects from the registry.
    3. Place this file FRxSP10RegAsm.bat into the main FRx 6.7.9111 directory
    4. Run the FRxSP10RegAsm.bat file
      • This will register the 6.7.9111 .NET interop COM objects in the registry.

    Or use the manual methods:

    1. Manually unregister the FRxSoftware.FRX.XLsIoInterface.dll version 6.7.0.10343 (SP10) using regasm
      • C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727> regasm /u "D:\Program Files\SP10 FDM70\FRxSoftware.FRx.XLsIoInterface.dl
    2. Manually register the FRxSoftware.FRX.XLsIoInterface.dll version 6.7.9111 (SP9) using regasm
      • C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727> regasm"D:\Program Files\SP10 FDM70\FRxSoftware.FRx.XLsIoInterface.dl

If FRx 6.7.10343 was rolled off use the following on the machine where the FRx Executables are located (if it is a network install do this on the server and the network client):

    1. Will need to manually delete the CLSID registry key that holds this information. Perform a search for FRxSoftware.FRx.XLsIoInterfaces.ExcelWorkbook
      • It should be located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\CLSID\{then a GUID Key} like {C556DBF9-B9FF-4604-98AO-A53ECF9C429f}
      • or any entries for 6.7.0.10343.

    Thanks & Regards
