The changes to the Service Header record cannot be saved because some information on the page is not up-to-date. Close the page, reopen it, and try again.

Hi

I try to update Service Header table, but when I run Modify on the table I get this error:

The changes to the Service Header record cannot be saved because some information on the page is not up-to-date. Close the page, reopen it, and try again.

How can I solve this?

Hey, it is quite an old thread but my input may help someone in the future. I was getting the same error when I tried to update the Service Header table during the posting process from Service Order page. To circumvent the issue, I created a temp table and inserted my required values with the Service Header."No." field value in it.

I was able to retrieve the values and update the Service Header table in the Service Order page's OnAfterGetRecord event, once data was loaded after the data posting.

    Hello,

What release of Dynamics 365 BC is this? We have a had a few of these resolved (though different table).

    E.g.:

    support.microsoft.com/.../update-15-1-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-business-central-2019-release-w

327028 Changes of the Warehouse Receipt header record cannot be saved because the information on the page is not up to date.

A similar error in Dynamics NAV 2016 (which does not apply here):

    support.microsoft.com/.../cumulative-update-16-for-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2018-build-29745

It could be that you are running into a bug and if you are on a very recent CU, you may want to report this to Microsoft. Meanwhile a confirmation that this issue does also happen in standard Dynamics 365 Business Central and some repro steps would  probably be needed as a first step.

    Thanks.
