I mannage a quarter budget. what is the way to Carry forward budget from quarter to quarter

Can you explain a bit more about your requirement such as
why you want/need to carry forward a budget amount?
why you budget on a quarterly basis?
do you update / modify your budgets regularly?
etc.

Finance wants to control expenditure on a quarterly basis but allow to carry forward balances from last quarter(s) but they don't want to allow to use budgets from the coming quarters.
e.g. having 100 monthly budgets will give us 300 in a quarter. suppose if we utilize 250 in the first quarter. So we should have 350 in the second quarter.
Hope I have explained it properly.
