Dear All,

We are using table group properties in table. Could you please let me know what is the practical use of table group in application?

Please give me more shed on this.

    Table groups provide a method for categorizing tables according to the type of data they contain and it is used practically when you import or export Data for example.

    Please read this msdn article msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa623733.aspx
    As you can see is could affect the way how AX will generate SQL.

    Also when you use SysDatabaseTransDelete it deletes data based on table group.

    When you do any import or export through Data Import/Export functionality (Organization Administration) in AX  then you have to select table group properties. please see below image :
