One Clint process is slow for dynamics ax

Posted on by 3,024

Dear Experts,

One of our client processing is very slow as all of the others are working well. Please suggest what is the issue, I already remove AUC files and other files from that client-side.

Best Regards,

Shabir Ahmad

    Hi Shabir,

In addition to the questions from Gunjan, can you try to delete the AUC files from the machine which is causing issues.

You can find these files in: C:\Users\{USERID}\AppData\Local

These files do have the extension .AUC (Application User Cache).

    Shabir,

Provided the user is able to work well on other PC, it is not an issue with the usage data for the user. Could you please let us know the answers to the following -

    1. Is the client version the same as the other clients on your network?

    2. Is the application hang being caused by specific processes or is it happening randomly?

RE: One Clint process is slow for dynamics ax

    Hi Shabir,

For a client machine, the memory and CPU seems to be OK. Can you tell if this user is doing other work compared to his colleagues? Are there other client programs running on this machine? Probably you can check the available resources on a Windows Resource Monitor? Probably the user is using a CAD program which consumes a lot of CPU and memory.

What happens if this user is working on another client machine? Does he then still have the same issues? Have you also checked if a virus scanner is active or that the network adapter is broken?

Could it be that the workstation where this client is installed doesn't have enough CPU or memory to run AX client?

    Hi Nikolaos Mäenpää ,

AX Client only for one user has this issue of slow processing, all other users are ok. Further this usersid is used by only one user and he we are using network, not VPN or remotely.

    Best Regards,

    Shabir Ahmad

RE: One Clint process is slow for dynamics ax

    Hi Shabir,

could you please provide as detailed answers as possible to the following questions:

    1) Do you mean that one AX client is working slowly? Or one process is working slowly?

    2) Is only one user using this AX client, or is it used by many other users as well?

    3) Is this client running in your company network, or remotely (via VPN)?
