I've created a sales order and confirmed it. When I try add a payment to the SO, the button is greyed out and I cannot click it.
Hi,
Can you share a screenshot showing the SO and the Payment option? I don't think it is a standard option, or you should mean to use the transaction settlement option.
Do you operate AX2012 or D365FO?
Do you refer to retail payment methods that become visible in the sales order tab of the SO once you make use of the retail functions?
Assuming that you refer to them.
To enable this payment button, please ensure that you have a completed retail setup including all retail payment methods, channels, etc.
Once that setup is done, the button should become active.
So, please check out the retail modules.
