EFT File effective date

How do I set the Generate EFT file effective date.   Our bank requires the effective (transmission date) to be 1 to 2 days in the future, however when I generate the EFT file, it defaults to the date created.   This is creating problems in our transmission of NACHA files for expense reimbursements.  Any help out there? Thank you.

    RE: EFT File effective date

    Hello,

Did you find any resolution? We are facing the same thing!

I have GP13 and in teh EFT File Format Maintenance window i can see where the settlement date is mapped. However, it is unclear how to add 2 days into the future.

    Was anyone successful with this?

Is there a setting somewhere in GP2013 that allows the settlement date on the batch.  my installation on my machine has it but my client does not and my machine is actually one behind the client.

I have just recently run into this request with a client who is running GP2010.  I don't see a way to do this as a calculated field for EFTs since that option in the format looks fairly rigid in what you can do.

Has anyone worked around this in any way? I could see using the posting date but would that cause issues if the EFT fell at month end and was posted in the next period?

I too am struggling with this. I dont see how you can do a calculated field for a date. Is there any way you could show an example of this?

    Hi Dawn,

EFT settlement dates are included in the next releast of GP - GP2013.

Up until then you could look at using a calculated field to add two days to the creation date.

You could also possible use the Posting date? and set this to be the required transmission date?

    Ian.
