Security Configuration - form name not found in privileges search

Hi everyone,

First time poster and at the beginning of my D365 F&O Security journey.

I have an issue attempting to locate the privilege responsible for granting access to the "Add Products" option on the sales order line form.

When i apply the standard sales ledger roles the menu option disappears.

I thought i could open add product > right click > form information > form name "RetailAddItems"

Then search for the form name within privileges of security configuration form and add it to a duty

I'm sure you have guessed by now that I did not find that name in there.
Also in the "Add products" form there is no "Options" menu item in the ribbon to select and open "Security Diagnostics"

Can anyone advise me of a good starting point on how i can find the privilege for this form so that i can then add it to an existing role. I'm sure there will be many others i encounter a similar situation with.
I have copied all the relevant roles that i believe I will require and the out of the box standard d265 F&O roles will not be touched.

Many thanks,

B

    Hi,

Could you please filter the privileges contains with the keyword " Product Category" and try again. Thank You.

The menu item RetailAddItems is (by default) included in three privileges:
    • Maintain purchase order details (PurchTableDetailsMaintain)
    • Maintain retail add items list (RetailAddItemsListMaintain)
    • Retail assortment item list maintain (RetailAssortmentItemListMaintain)
I used references in a development environment.
