Forgotten Utility Password

We have been asked by a new client to help them out, and one of the first issues turns out that the recently departed Controller 'shut the back door' by changing the System Utility Password.

I know / or at least I thought I knew that there was a method to change or reset - however I am on site and can not access my notes.

Does anyone know of a simple method to 'change' the utility password?  We have the user logins and sa passwords all good - but this was a little 'got ya' left for the company.

    UPDATE DYNAMICS..SY02400 SET DMYPWDID=1,PASSWORD = 0x00202020202020202020202020202020

    The system password is in the SY02400 table is in the DYNAMICS database.

    I think you can just update the PASSWORD column with 0x00202020202020202020202020202020

    Update SY02400 set PASSWORD=0x00202020202020202020202020202020

    And that should set it to blank.

    This will blank out the password so you can reset it. If you want to find waht it is you can create a new report in R/W and specify System Password Master.
