Getting a specific message when opening a form extension after platform upgrade. Is this normal?

Hello, Experts!

I keep on getting this message when I open a customized form extension after upgrading to a preview PU 31 provided by Microsoft. The message is this:

"Some elements have been removed from the base form. The form extension items that were modeled after or inside these removed elements have been relocated to end of the form"

The standard form that I have extended is PriceDiscAdm form. Aside from that, I can no longer see the standard fields from it's grid control. It is only displaying my added customized fields, but this is not how it works before the upgrade.

Does this mean that Microsoft upgraded something from this form, thus this happened?

I have the same question (0)

Hi All. Apologies for the super late reply. This behavior was due to the preview version of the PU 31. When we applied the non preview of PU 31 to our dev instances, it went back to normal

    Hi Kali,

I checked in Standard PU31. the Grid still contains the object. You may recreate the extension for this form and add your changes again.

Seems like a breaking change introduced by MS :)

Hi, Unfortunately, I don't have PU31 VM available, but I would first check that the Grid component is still available on base form and was not moved to an extension or renamed. Also, I will double-check that the form is still in "Application suite" model.

Also, you could check that the system control name is the same as was before in original control and your extension (in XML files you can find this info).

    BR, Sergey
