Hello,

I need help with two issues,

1. I'm creating an extension that includes a report where the default layout is RDLC and a reference to the layout

RDLCLayout = './Layouts/WaybillBarCode.rdl';

DefaultLayout = RDLC;

no matter what I do the layout is always blank when I run the report (build-in), but if I create a custom layout and import this file to it the layout is fine?

Any suggestions?

2. I'm using Report Builder for this report and need to print SSCC barcode (code128) .. what is the best way to do that?

Hi,

1. Please check the file of'./Layouts/WaybillBarCode.rdl' is not blank and make sure that the layout of that report in the Report Layout Selection page is set to default.

regarding issue 1 the layout is not blank but not Default in report layout selection page, but I cannot change it

is something missing in the rdl file or al report file?

Hii,

Are you changing the Layout Description? If you want to put custom layout over the report you have to select Custom Layout option on the Selected Layout field. If you have to attached built-in layout no need to change the Layout description name system will auto put the description.

Regarding the barcode font... do I have to purchase a license for this IDAutomation font or do you know of any free download font that I could use?
