I am trying to create new Exhange Server (Hybrid) on CRM 2016 on-line and there is following error message:
<detail> <e:ResponseCode xmlns:e="schemas.microsoft.com/.../errors">ErrorInvalidSmtpAddress</e:ResponseCode> <e:Message xmlns:e="schemas.microsoft.com/.../errors">The SMTP address format is invalid.</e:Message> </detail>
Version of server: Exchange Server 2010 14.03.0279.002
Incoming Server Location: https://....com/ews/Exchange.asmx
Outgoing Server Location: https://....com/ews/Exchange.asmx
Login: domain\serviceCRM
Could somebody help me find the solution? There are two errors in Connecting to Exchange with EWS and in Connecting to Mailbox.

We have the same issue.
I have found a solution but it's probably not the best solution out there.
It seems Microsoft is using the field username to populate the SMTP address field in a SOAP message.
Because your domain\username does not have a e-mail address format you get an error.
When using user@domain.local you will get it working only you will have to add user@domain.local as an SMTP address to all of your users/mailboxes.
