We have created a Free text invoice with a past due date. This invoice appears in the customer aging report but does not appear in the aged balances form (a periodic task was performed to calculate the aging). We also noticed that there is a lack of a large number of customers on the aged balances form.
Do you happen to know why we have such a difference between these two pages and how to pull missing customer balances to the aged balances form?
The Aged balances form is based on snapshot data. On the action menu in this form there is a button called Update aging that can be used to update the data for a selected customer. In the periodic menu of Credit and collections there is the option to start a batch update for Age customer balances which will fully refresh the aging snapshot data.
