Fail to publish data on Excel-addin

Hi guys,

I tried to update Sell Price on Item Master via excel add-in. However, all records are failed to published and the error message does not help enough to find the solution.

Could you please advise what the exact error here?

Hi Blue WANG,

I did Compile into.Net FrameworkCIL from System Admin and try to publish again, it doesnt work at all. I got same error.

Hi ETT,

You tried to update a lot of data (>2700 records).

Have you tried if the update works on a subset of them?

That is, can you update 1, 2 or 3 prices with the Excel addin?

If this does not work as well, then have a look at the data management framework and try using this one for your price update.

Thanks for your reply. I tried to update prices for some items, but the same error happened.

Please advise me which entity is suitable to import item price.

Hello ETT,

Can you check which data entity is showing in excel add-ins for uploading the item sale price? Is it "Released products V2" entity or anything else?

Hi ALL,

I uploaded Item sell price via DIXF, Entity name: Item.

My data include: DisplayProductNumber, Itemid, SalesPrice, Date, SalesPriceUnit.

It worked well, price is updated. However, other previous setup at Item level such as Tracking dimension, ProductDimension and Searchname have gone. That's is terrible. Luckily I only work on Test and Dev.

Do you guy know whether is a safer way to upload price?

I prepared data as follow. However, after I uploaded these data, other Item configurations such as Tracking dimension, search name have gone.

Hi Ett,

Do you make use of trade agreements?

It might be an option to upload the prices into this form then there is no direct touchpoint to the item form/tables.
