CAMT.053 return format for AX 2009

Hi,

I currently have three clients that are in need of the vendor payment return format of CAMT.053 for vendors (AP). And while I've found Hotfix (KB3191131) that includes CAMT.054 for customers (AR) I have found no Hotfix that includes CAMT.053 nor CAMT.054 for AX 2009 SP1, only for AX2012/NAV/D365. Since CAMT.053/CAMT.054 is a return format based on ISO20022 and should be the standardized return format in Europe I find it strange that this is not supported through a Hotfix.

My inquiry is if CAMT.053 exists in any Hotfix that I haven't been able to find, or in some other related update, or if this has to be developed for AX2009.

    I would suggest that you contact the local MS support first in your country before you start doing some development on your own.

    Hi Ludwig, thank you for the reply. I actually did, but their service was temporarily down when I tried to make the inquiry. Now I have gotten an reply that I will share since there might be others having the same inquiry.

    ISO20022 camt.054 is to import incoming customer payments  – KB 3191131

    ISO20022 camt.054  is to import the return files for vendors, the payment file has been generated before. – KB 3193294

    ISO20022 camt.053  is the format for Bank Account statements, which are imported in General Ledger journal and in newer AX Versions in Advanced bank reconciliation. From AX 2012 R2 on, the ISO20022/Camt.053 format can be imported via the functionality “Advanced Bank reconciliation”. So there is no chance to import bank account statements in a camt.053 format to AX2009.
