While splitting the Fixed Asset I got a error "Acquisition for fixed asset, value model already exists" kindly help me.

Hi,
Can you provide some more information on the existing asset that you tried to split?
What transactions have been posted there and when?
What about the other asset to which you want to transfer the costs?
Has this already been acquired?
Do you allow multiple acquisitions for your fixed assets?
Can you replicate this issue in a different demo/test system?
Would be great if you could provide some more details supported ideally by some screenprints.

I have the same problem.
I created a fixed asset and acquired it via a asset journal
Then I made an investment project
Consumed some materials on the project
Create estimate and calculate > post > eliminate
Then I get the same message
I am in the assumption that you must be able to eliminate cost to an already acquired fixed asset
