Hi,

I am using Dynamics GP 2015. We have stock counts in each quarter, which includes more than 2000 active items and 3500 non active items. Is there any option in the stock count schedule to limit the items like, only those items with quantities greater than zero appears in the schedule. I cannot find any option now, the screenshot is attached for reference. Pls reply.

Thank you....

Hi Shawn, thanks for replying. I had tried the ABC option earlier, but we have an inventory of more than 1700 active items. So I guess if the ABC is regularly updated, this solves my problem. Another concern is that there are certain items which are assigned to 5/6 different locations, so these items will be repeating by sites and we will have to verify each line item for the stock count process.

Not that I am aware of... you still would want items with Zero on hand to be on the list - what if they are on the shelf but the system shows zero?

You could use a Smartlist to trim down the inventory list, I find that helpful from time to time but as far as the tool itself, I am not aware of a way, without customization.

You could use ABC codes to flag inventory that you do not want pulled into the stock count... that might help?
