Where do I go to see a list of fields/tables?

Posted on by 2,432

Hi,

I need to provide fields for data interface purposes.  Where do I go to get a list of fields in certain modules?  If we were to set up an interface between concur and D365 or Workday and D365, where would I go to see a list of fields AX/D365 in the GL module or Expense Management module?  Thanks so much!

    Hi Kim,

You can find the templates in "Template section" of Data Management.

    Arunkumar,

Do you where I can download the Budget Template?  Purpose: to upload the budget from external excel.  Thanks so much!

    Hi Kim,

All data interfaces are handled through Data Entities in D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SC). There are about 2400 out of entities for various modules in D365 F&SC. To read more about the data entities please go through the below link Data entities overview - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

Here is the navigation path for data entities in D365 F&SC System Administration > Data Management > Data Entities > Entity Model View / Entity Category view. The Entity model view will display the list of data entities associated to a specific model as shown below. Once you have identified the entity click on the target fields button at the top to get the list of fields in the entity.
