Gross Wages in Business Portal do not include Business Expense Reimbursement

The Employee Center Pay History Gross Pay amount is incorrect as it does not include the Business Expense Reimbursement. The Net wages are correct, however. How can that be corrected? I realize that the reimbursement is not marked to include as wages but it is confusing to have this amount listed in a group that it does not get added into. Is there some way to rectify this?

Thank you so much. The issue was indeed with the filtering on the Wages query. They had limited it to just Hourly and Salary pay types.

RE: Gross Wages in Business Portal do not include Business Expense Reimbursement

    Hi NOLA,

We've been using Business Portal for many years, but unfortunately with the Canadian Payroll, the feature is not supported to show the payslips... However, I was wondering  as you seem to run on GP 2013 currently, if you're going to upgrade soon to GP 2015, in which case the BP will be gone because Microsoft no longer provides it along with GP and the old version 5.x & 6.x will not be supported anymore (not to mention that they will probably not work with 2015)...

However, a solution path to you to look for in BP could be to check the queries behind the data. Most data display relies on BP queries that are available under the Site Actions > BP Administration > Query Organization.

To modify an existing query you've to go under the section 'Queries' in the corresponding BP site page (i.e. Payroll) and from there you'll see a tree-like list of queries that are available. The shared queries are usually the ones used commonly by every users. When you click on "Employee Wages" for example, you can click on button "Modify Query" which opens a new window where you can play with the columns, filter data, sorting, & company selection. If you want to keep the modified version of your query, you'll have to save it under your own folder "My Queries" and then later copy that version with the button 'Organize' to a different location (or use the BP Admin > Query Organization for more global saved custom queries).

    Hope this helps.
