Purchase Order Processing data has been damaged; please rebuild the data

Dear All,

When i did reconcile Purchase Documents(Tools-->Utilities-->Purchase-- ReconcilPurchase Documents).

It showing Error. Purchase Order Processing data has been damaged; please rebuild the data.

I tried to open PO and saved again with out any problem .But still same error occures.

My GP version is Microsoft Dynamics GP Professional 10.00.1368

    Thanks Ian, igot the problem . POP10110 table contained data with out vedor itemcode. when i maually populated vndnum in item the error went off. This is cused actually we are migrated from gp 7.5 to 10. for old order there was no vendor item codes in po table. Gp 10 in po vendor itemnumber is required

    Hi - First off I would run check links against the Purchasing Transaction tables.

    Usually in the error message above it gives the PO number of the transaction causing the problem.

    I would search for this transaction in SQL and see can you spot any issues with eithre the header or line.

    If not - you will still need to view the PO header and line tables and look for a corrupted transaction. You may then have to manually delete the PO from the SQL tables - or fix the data if you can. Compare the PO to another PO in the table.
