We were recently given new registration keys for gp 2010. Are there any steps that need to be followed before entering those in the registration window?

Make sure you do a screen shot copy of your previous keys before you put in the new keys.  I used to be a consultant and way too may times when we got new keys they would "mistakenly" deactivate something else.  So do a screen shot of the keys and of the options window so that you know all modules are activated after you put in the new keys.

SmartList Builder is a separate feature which will need to be installed. From Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs modify the install to include this new feature.

Once installed, run GP Utilities to update the database for the SmartList Builder tables and then run up GP itself to include new code.

Once the licence keys are added you'll then have access to SmartList Builder.

Yes, we are on GP 2010 R2, but we have now purchased Smart List Builder.  We received new registration keys, so I just needed to know if it is as simple as just keying them in the registration window.

    Have you done the upgrade?
