Sync a deleted out contact from CRM

Hi

I use Outlook sync filters to sync my contacts from CRM Online to Outlook.  I have accidentally deleted a contact from Outlook but now it wont sync.  

Is there a way I can "Reset" the sync so my deleted contact comes back?

    As this Question is very old, i hope it still helps the one or the other:

    My situation was i used Server-Side Sync to Sync Contacts from my CRM To my Outlook.

    I deleted one Contact and was not able to get it back by sync.

    As i had a Productive and Test Environment and i used Server Side Sync in Production i made the following:

    * went to the Testsystem and searched for my user

    * went to his Mailbox

    * Approved EMail

    * Test & Enable Mailbox

    * THIS NOW IS THE KEY!!!: There was a popup which statened "Sync items with Exchange from this D365 Org only..." I activated this flag and pressed OK

    This changed my Exchange Settings to map the Test Environment.

    Now i did all theses Steps again with the Productive Environment, so it would change the settings back to my needed Environment.

    Now all "deleted" contacts were synced back again.

    Hi Carl, as Daniel Koenig said, 
    i wasn't talkig about the "Dynamics App for Outlook", but instead about the "Dynamics Outlook Client", i.e. the old clunky Outlook-AddIn.

    If you are using the App instead, my solution doesn't work. My best guess is to try something similar - for ServerSideSync that would mean to reconfigure that mailbox of the affectged user to NOT sync contacts, test and enable it, and then reconfigure it again to continue synching. Maybe that fulfills the same purpose!

    Hi Carl,

    i am pretty sure he does not mean the Outlook App you use with server side sync, but the (not anymore deprecated) Outlook Client which is an Add-in for MS Outlook.

    Hi, Sounds great. Would be super great if you explain a bit more in detail? Do you mean re-add "Microsoft Dynamics 365 App for Outlook"?

    I have removed this app plug-in connection and re-added it, without any change.

    We use "server-side sync". What do you mean by "Just delete and reconnect the CRM-Organization in the Outlook Client Connection Wizard."?

    Hi, I know this question is out there some time, but I just had this issue and we found a solution to this problem:

    Just delete and reconnect the CRM-Organization in the Outlook Client Connection Wizard.
    That makes outlook forget all metadata off your "synched, but deleted" contacts. 

    So as soon as you reconfigure the org, all your contacts get synched again according to your filter rules.

    Probably you can go through this article which explains about the synchronization from outlook to CRM in detailed. This explains about stopping the synchronization from CRM to outlook but in your case it should be opposite:

    Thats right.  The contact is in CRM but I have removed it from Outlook.  

    This is actually part of a bigger requirement.  There are users who have lots of contacts which is a problem.  They have changed the Sync filter so it syncs less contacts however this does not remove contacts already in Outlook.  The idea is the user deletes all contacts from Outlook and then resyncs using the new sync filter.  In theory, the user should only sync the contacts they need.

    However when I delete a contact, it does not resync.

    Hi Marc,

    Is the deleted contact already available in CRM? If I understand correctly you want to roll back the deleted contact which I do not see a possibility.

    If the contact is already synchronized into CRM then it should be getting synched back to outlook later point of time.
