Hi!

I don't know how can I be more detailed, because this error ([Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]Communication link failure + [A SQL STATEMENT) appear randomly In Production AOS servers Event Viewers.

Here all server are physical and we use load balance.

The infrastructure said that everything is OK.

We refreshed the WCF configurations and restart the services, but the problem still appearing after that.

Anyone know what can I do as a best practice who can solve this problem?

Thank You in advance!

If it appears randomly, then your infrastructure is not OK.

You need to make sure everything is all patched up from Windows, SQL Server, latest AX kernels, network drivers, etc.

You also need to disable/uninstall all software/hardware firewall and antivirus deployed on the AX/SQL instances, since those could interfere with network communication as well and cause the above experienced network communication failures.

If you still get an issue, then your infrastructure and/or Windows deployment is definitely not OK.

    Hi Brandon and Vilmos!

I'm getting in touch with the infrastructure again. We gonna try to re-validate these steps that Brandon said!

If we got any solution about this issue, I will share with you!

    Thank You very much!

    Hi Haris and all others!

Sorry, I simply forgot to post the solution here!

There was a SQL job that was closing the Dynamics AX connections, creating these logs on event viewer! Obsviously, I asked to stop this job

    Hi Boobalan,

I don't have access to the SQL Statment, but they was killing SQL Sessions that became orphans of AX.

In our case, these orphans connections are created by users that kill AX client through CTRL + ALT + Delete function.
