How to add products to an quotes?

Hi guys,

i´m trying to add some products from my pricelist to a quote, what´s not working in my environment.

I guess it´s just a very easy thing i overlook. My assumption is that i miss a Product type, if that´s the issue - which setting i´ve to change to let it work.

Hi Patrick,

It does look strange, how is your products setup no problems when creating a new product?

It should have something like below.

Has any customisations been made to the systems? that could have overwritten the lookup table?

Hi Winters,

when i try to create a new product in the saleshub, i don´t have the option to choose whether it´s a Product or a Project-based Service.

I can just choose one of the options in the screenshot.

Even when i creat a product in F&O, i can choose if it´s a Service or a Article, but this has no effect on the issue here.

PO and Sales use different quote forms. You can ensure that you use the correct one.

You can of course provide access to forms per app and per security role also.

thanks for your support.

Our Solution was: We´ve installed another Version(without Dual write/F&SCM connection), there it´s working very fine.

(Project Operations for scenarios based on in-stock/out-of-stock resources)

Therefore, I think that in the version with F&SCM it has not yet been fully worked out and released by Microsoft.
