Hi,

I have a form (Simplelist or SimpleListDetails). I want to search and filter records on different Fields (CustAccount, Name, date of delivery).
How can i have a filter like the All customer listpage in Accounts receivable with an textfield and a button with different option?

Thanks

    Hi Ava.

Easiest way is simply to turn on filter by grid. Press Ctrl+G on your keyboard. You can then filter on any field on the grid.

Hi AvaM, If you need a default filter then you can use a preloaded features of AX r3.

Go to: File> Tools> Options> In General Fast tab go to "Interface Options" then Check

Grid option which will solve your problem.

Hi Jonathan Halland, you are partially right because we cannot apply filter on those fields whose values are coming via display methods. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi. That's correct. You will need to either change the datasource structure of your form in the background to allow for the fields directly or add additional filter controls to you form and build in extended ranges that use these filter values to filter.

Unfortunately there are no quick and easy options for filtering like this.

our users sometimes just export to Execl (Ctrl+T) and then use excel to filter the data and then work off the excel sheets.
