Get/Set value to global data.

Is there any way to set global data variable, and read it elsewhere.

What is the scope of global data variable? Is the scope the current session (other session will not see the global variable)?

    One option is simply saving data to database. Nevertheless you can also use SysGlobalCache (see Using Global Variables [AX 2012]) which is not shared across sessions, or SysGlobalObject cache (see Using SysGlobalObjectCache (SGOC) and understanding it’s performance implications) which is shared.

    Nevertheless you should be very careful with global data - it can cause race conditions, mysterious side effects and many other nasty stuff.
