Hi,

I have a global option-set called "appliance" and a calculated currency field called "priceperunit". I was wondering if i can auto-fill priceperunit field with the global option-set external value as soon as i pick an option or change it without the need to save the form or refresh the page? Note: Auto-save feature is activated

Thank you

Hi ... thank you for your quick response but no I have not done so because I’m not that good in programming. Believe it or not I built, designed, and made dynamics work perfectly the way we wanted it without a single code, but of course with some external plugins.

Is there anyway to do that without coding? Or if the code is not that complicated, can you help me with it ?

    Thanks

you can try business rules.. which is without code solution.. but if there is a complex logic then it will be difficult.

If you have simple logic like option set value ="a" then select currency =b then you can achieve using business rules..

Business rules will work on option set value change and no code solution.

    Hi,

Thank you again. Business role won't achieve what i'm looking for as I will need to refresh each time! It's not that complex; I made it work by creating Jscript and attached it to in save function.

    Thanks anyway
