System Message Unable to Execute

I have a client who is getting this error on the PO screen, today I asked him to go to the SL location and run the 0425000.exe and he reported that he was getting an error when doing attempting to run the executable "another program is using this file".  He was not running process manager on this workstation.  He is not aware of any backup program running but they are typically seeing this in the afternoon, leads me to believe that something is running and it is always lock this same file. Any thoughts?

    Hello Dschwarz,

I believe the map drive(Z) has not been properly mapped on the workstation. Did you ask your client to check the Access table of System DB of Dynamics SL?

If yes, please ask them to delete the entries from the access table and try to connect back to SL system.

Please let me know how it goes.

While what PersumalSamy stated should be looked at, I would think that, if this were the case then the client would not be able to run any of the PO screens and you did not indicate that.  Also, when you stated that you had the client try to launch 0425000.exe directly that he got a message that another program is using this file is rather odd.  This is an executable file which would not have exclusive use set on it (unless it was currently being backed up by something like BackUpExec) and the backup process either hung or failed and did not release the file.  You can go into computer management / shared files on the server that holds SL and see if a user/process has 0425000.exe open.  Again, exe files should normally allow multi-user access to them (within SL) so it makes me think that some outside process may have locked this file.
