Defining the dimensions on new product creation

Hi,

When creating the new released product with subtype as product master and selecting the 'Configuration' in product dimension group we need to define and default the specific configuration value on the 'OK' click of the new product creation form and so that if we perform 'edit' after the creation we can see the value has been defaulted to the 'Config' field as we've defined the configuration for the product on creation-could you help me in achieving this ?

    Hello ax200nine,

Can you elaborate on what you try to do exactly?

Especially, you classified this thread with the 'Development / ...' tag. Does this mean that you want to modify something in the standard application?

Would be great if you could provide some additional details what you try to do.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

we need to modify the standard logic of the product creation process and usually we'll define the configuration through setup manually after the creation of product and we need to achieve this through code on the product creation process itself by defining the specific configuration value and the same value to has to be defaulted as the 'configuration' for the product created
