Currencies - Fix Exchange Rate

Hi,

We are running BC with multiple currencies, with a Currency Exchange Service running smoothly, updating currencies every day. I am however having an issue with the /Fix Exchange Rate Amount/ field, which defaults back to /Currency/ after every update.

We quoting in certain currencies, users need to adjust the exchange rate, which can only be done if the /Fix Exchange Rate Amount/ is set to /Relation Currency/. But as stated above this defaults to /Currency/ after every update. Am I missing something here, or must this be done differently?

Currencies - Fix Exchange Rate

What you need to know is that every exchange rate you insert into the system is done as a completely new record in the currency exchange rate table.

So you ned to configure your exchange rate update function so that it sets the required value for this field. As far as I know there is not a way to configure that you want it to use another default than the system default that is currency,

So this needs to be handle as part of the exchange rate update process.
