Status bubbles for lookup fields - Lync/Skype for Business integration

Hi all,

We use skype for business/lync integration with CRM 2016. 

I am currently trying to find out why all of the lookup fields have a leading "bubble" for e.g. the country lookup field eventhough you obviously can't call a country.

In general the bubble shows the current status, usually of a user. E.g. for Country it shows "unknown" for the call information (see screenshot). The status bubble for the user is green, "available" which is correct.

Could anybody advice why status bubbles show up for all lookup fields for which it doesn't make sense and how I can get rid of them?

    Do the following checks

    1. See if the country entity has any text fields where the format is 'Phone'

    2. Account entity will have phone numbers in it, hence shows the bubble.

    1. none of the text fields on country is of the format "Phone"

    There is one country code field but the format is "text" so it shouldn't be the reason. Any more hints?

    Hello Carina.

    Have a look in your customizations.

    Maybe the option "Enable the presence for this column" is checked.

    Hi Karsten,

    thx for your hint but I couldn't find the checkbox active for any of the columns. So I assume it doesn't cause my problem.
