Read a few topics about this issue, but none of them really helpful.
Using the Shopify Connector we would like to sync all items from BC to Shopify and not back again. Only one datasource!
We have individual SKU numbers for all variants. Meaning for a shirt in 3 sizes we would have one master product and 3 individual items for each size.
In Shopify frontend there should be only the master product with the 3 variants to choose on the product page. Getting an order back in BC I would expect it to be for the individual SKU variant.
Please explain how and if this is possible to setup directly from BC Shopify Connector? According to the MS documentation it should be possible, but I can't figure out how to do the mapping of variants in BC?
I end up in this case with 4 products in Shopify backend (master + 3 variants) meaning I would need to do the grouping/mapping of variants in Shopify backend. Is this really the only possible solution?
What would you suggest as best practice if you are facing similar issues with your product variants??
