You must have a Sales Tax Payable account in your chart of accounts if the QuickBooks company is setup to use Sales Tax. You also must have an Inventory asset account in your chart of accounts if you are tracking the current value of inventory.

Check your company preferences. Here's sales tax:

Hi, looks like I am not able to complete the steps for  'Grant Access'   -- When I click on this buton, there is no pop-up form! Could this be the reason why no data is exported? Is there any settings that I need to check such as UAC? Appreciate your help.

Grant access to your QuickBooks data

1.Click the Grant Access button to open the QuickBooks – Application Certificate window.

    2. Mark to always allow access to the Rapid Migration Tool even when QuickBooks isn’t running.

    3. Mark to allow access to personal data, such as credit card information and Social Security numbers.

    4. Click the Continue button in the QuickBooks – Application Certificate window.

    5. Click Done in the Access Confirmation window.

    6. Return to the Data Access window.

"This application has not accessed this QuickBooks company data file before.

The QuickBooks administrator must grant an application permission to access a QuickBooks company data file for the first time.. Source is: CoreObjXDB"

    Hi again,

Yep, you do need access. Today, my team did a Rapid Migration from QB Premier 2013 to GP, I'll check with them tomorrow to see if I can give you a better answer. I think we must have jumped over every log in the forest trying to get that thing to run.

Thanks. After I changed to QB admin user, RMT started creating (filling) table. However, it seems to be stuck on filling estimate table! (just a correction on the version of QB - its 2010 Premier).

    Congrats!

    You have definitely earned it!

It'll be easy next time :)

    Kind regards,

Morning Leslie,  regarding "Inventory asset account",  my question is that do we need to create one (with exact same name") with taxline as "unassigned" or how is this account mapped with existing inventory accounts?

With inventory asset, RMT is good to go for me. thanks.

Hi Leslie, I happen to come across the same issue again for another instance of GP 2010- RMT stuck on this account "Filling table Estimates" - which is defined in QB as non-posting account.  What would be cause of this? Is there anyway to get around this? Any help would be appreciated.
