Sync Outlook Contacts by using D365 S-SS

Hello,

When integrating Dynamics 365 online with Exchange online by using Server-Side Sync method, is it possible to sync your outlook contact book to Dynamics and vice versa?

I have dynamics 365 email configured as follows, and permissions should be ok:

Best Regards,

    Hi Rista,

My sync is now working again (I have no idea how!) However, to answer your question you can only sync from Dynamics CRM to Outlook and not the other way using Dynamics 365 for Outlook or server-side synchronization. If you want to push data from Outlook to CRM then you will need to use the Track functionality or a 3rd party product. If your Contacts and Appointments are not syncing from CRM to Outlook then check to ensure your rules in Outlook are active and your data meets the criteria.

    Hi Risto,

I have a similar issue. It was working fine a few weeks back and now it is not (Appointments have stopped too) All of my settings appear to be fine and have not changed. The only way I can get any form of synchronisation between Outlook and CRM right now is to use the Track option with Outlook.

Quick add-in: It says right there in the settings: "Appointments, contacts and tasks", but how does it actually work?
