Hello!

Has anyone seen this error before? "Source queries are not ready to execute" When trying to view the sources within IM I get the following error " Error retrieving table information" I can navigate out to the source document but I can't view the properties within IM. I was going to remove and re-add the sources but a little hesitant as I didn't originally set this integration up and wasn't sure if I would have all the settings! Help!

I have actually never seen this error, but I have came across an old thread with the same issue, check it out Source queries are not ready to execute.

I have only seen this message when the source document is open in excel or notepad.

You might try testing that first - then let us know.

Hi Bill,

The customer confirmed the source document was not opened when running the integration. I was really hoping that was the problem!!

I did find that article to, my next step is to remove the source and read them! Wish me luck!

Before removing the Sources - be sure to click out all the tabs on the properties of each one - it might be something related to a filter or restriction that is causing the issue.

Keep the group updated and maybe something will pop.

Mahmoud's provided some very good information in his post. I have seen this error a couple of times, and in each it had to do with the source files not being accessible. Either due to security (no read access to the location), or the files being moved/deleted.

ShelleyAnn, once again Harry comes in with a great solution to the problem.

When a application like Integration Manager can not "open" a file - it does not determine if it cause you have it open or due to the fact that the file is in a 'locked' location.

Go for - think this should work.
