Dynamics CRM APP - How to sync manually

Hi,

I have set up the offline configuration of my Dynamics app however the last sync time was yesterday. I am currently playing with the entity filter rules to get what I want to display however each time I make a change I have to wait for the app to sync with the back end.

My question is:

1. Is there a way to manually sync the app so that its synchronised to roughly the same time I made the changes?

2. How do I set the sync timer for the app so that it syncs when I want it to? (If possible)
