I have some automated emails generated(via workflow) and sent out from CRM.
When any email is generated( via workflow), user if adds any text to it, emails are sent out in different fonts and styles.
Is there any way to control this formatting to what the existing email has, when user tries to add new wordings?
Also few automated email also go in different fonts sometimes even though user doesn't change anything .
Thanks,
P

I have the same question (0)This is a long-standing issue with the Email editor for workflows, going back to at least 2011. It seems that the editor is pretty lousy when it comes to picking default fonts and especially when it comes to putting HTML tags around fonts and dynamic fields, so that when you click around to make changes you can click within a pair of tags (which are invisible) and end up breaking all kinds of things.
The best thing I've found to do is to make sure you have the same default font set across all browsers - the editor will use whichever is set, so if it's Arial in Edge or Times New Roman in Chrome, it will switch to that font when editing.
Also, be super careful when adding fields and pay attention to where they get inserted. You may find the cursor hops around and puts it at the beginning of a line, the end of the message, or even replaces an existing field. If that happens, exit out without saving and re open and try again.
And then test your email by making the workflow on demand and send it to yourself to check.
It really is a pain to use this editor for anything.
