Hi guys,

I defaulted a two option field and added it to BPF and form too. In BPF section is showing in italic and blue. How do I make it standard black? On the form is showing as standard. Also if I click on it to change it to the second option it will show in black.

Thank you

Ok so tried Option Set instead with two options(thanks Luke), got the behavior I wanted, just one color for everything. Thanks

The black is really when the field is "completed" in Microsoft's terms from what I understand.  Overall no way to modify this behavior as far as I know.

    Thanks,

Apologies, didn't read the question correctly initially.  I think the behaviour you are experience with the black and blue text is the black text is the "True" option and the blue is the "False" option.  You notice this behaviour more when using Yes/No.  Possibly Microsoft use the black text to highlight that the step has been completed.  For consistency you could try replacing the field with an optionset with just two values?

Drew, why is it showing normal if I switch to the second option for that field(standard black font)? Even if I switch to On Hold then back to Progress, the Progress option is still italic blue? Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?

Luke, my problem is with the blue italic font showing for the default value.

    Hi BobbyC,

I do not think this is customizable within the business process flow.  Sorry.

Was the record you're currently viewing created before you added the new two option field?  If so, despite you defaulting the value existing records will have a null value for that field - the default will only be applied to new records.  To rectify you would need to update all existing records with the correct value.
