we are thinking to create a web page so customers can purchase online. any suggestion on the application/vendor that provide integration? ideally the web page will connect with our Dynamics 365 inventory and update pricing ...

Hi, If you are connected to Business Central, I suggest you use Shopify store, Microsoft provides a standard connector to synchronize product, inventory, price and other information.

Hi,
As far I know, the web development is not possible in BC, instead as suggested by Zhu there are some other apps in the market you can use them to sell your items on other website and integrate with BC, for your total Sales, Inventory etc.
