My contact list is managed in D365, and I use a separate email platform to send out email communications to our contact list. The email platform is not integrated with D365.
I would like to be able to attach some kind of record of my email campaigns to the contact so that when you go to the contact page you can see which email campaigns the contact has been sent. I've tried D365's campaign feature, but I only see a way to attach the campaign to the contact if you actually distribute/send email campaigns through D365. Is there a way to attach an email campaign that was not distributed directly in d365 to a contact?

Are you using the D365 Marketing product? At a high level, you can create a brand new entity/table for your campaigns and just manually attach a record/row in that table to your contact record.
