Unexpected GLTRX trying to post to closed period

We had an unexpected GLTRX show up today with a Trx Date of 9/30/12 (date is in our closed last fiscal year).  I found article 2448193 that explains why the MCTE occurred.  My question is regarding the posting date - is there any way to configure these type transactions to post to the current period rather than when the original transaction occurred?  Thanks for the help!  Jeanne

    Jeanne,

I am not aware of an out-of-the-box method to set this as you desire.

Jeanne, did this transaction post or was it sitting in a batch?  If the latter, you could always change the posting date to the current year.
