How To Display Only First 10 Customers in All Customers List Page

Hi,

I Have to Display Only First 10 Customers in the All customers and i used one Button Control to filter . I need that code for to do that. I am new to AX .

Just out of curiosity, how did you come up with this requirement? What is the business need behind it?

You can set data source query to return "First only" but you can't get "first 10".

This is not really something you would normally do in AX, just showing random 10 customers.

So there is no standard way of doing this that I know off.

The query methods that AX uses for showing data on forms do not have a last/top n records function.

So you would properly have to come up with some custom way of doing it.

I will do a little research on the matter and get back to you if I find anything.

Hi Rudi,

I Have One Form , But in the Table There are 100+ Records . But I have to Display Only First 10 Records Based on Account No . For Example, Take the Custtable . I need code for this and i dont know where to write the code .
