Hi,
We have an Item( Avg Perpetual valuation method) which has receipt posted for unit cost, say for example, $100 and then invoiced at cost $40. There is a receipt entry in IV30300 for $100, and another one for the cost variance(the difference) amount $60. Is it suppose to update the Current Cost to $40 when the cost adjustment transaction posted or not. I see in some cases it did and in some cases not. I dont see the entries for the problem Items in IV00118. Not sure what could be the issue.
Can someone please shed some light on this.
Are there other ways to adjust the Current Cost in GP, other than updating it through SQL?
