If you have audit log enabled, you'll likely have to download it from Dynamics to a local db, parse it there, then build your report in SSRS.

However, since you are not looking for the attribute-level report, you might just create something custom(which will only work for the future actions, though, since you won't have any data there right now):

Create an entity with a few lookup fields (account, contact, lead, opportunity, all types of activities, and user), then keep log of those actions you need to report on in that entity, and use it for reporting

You can build your report (even using Advanced Find) right now for "New..." since it's all about looking at the createdby/createdon attributes.

It's the "modifiedby/modifiedon" part which requires some extra tracking (unless you are ok with the last "modifiedby/mofidiedon", but, then, if different users modify the same record, you'll only see those records associated with whoever has modified that record last in the report)

    Hi Akhil,

    This is not possible!

You cannot create a report on audit log due to the way the data is stored.

You can refer the below link.

    Hope it helps!

    Many thanks,

    Hi Akhil,

Audit log report is not possible, i mean out of the box.

Yes, you need to create yourself.

However, if you already have exact definition of each entity like you mentioned, you can create a plugin to always store it on your transaction entities, then you can easily retrieve your data within CRM.

    Hi

The way we have implemented is to create a custom entity. And using JS on CRM forms like account etc, we are capturing  events like open/read, etc and creating an entry in custom entity.

another option you can explore is Organizational Insights it is available for crm online:

    itsolutions.bdo.ca/.../quick-tip-track-user-usage-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm

    technet.microsoft.com/.../mt703628.aspx

    For OnPremise:

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

If you don't need it to be a report in crm. You can download this program which exports audit data to csv or excel.
